Like no other, the Schuberth brand stands for quality, the traditional company from Magdeburg produces premium helmets that convince with maximum safety and highest wearing comfort. The Scuberth M100 fulfills ballistic protection according to NIJ IIIA as well as VPAM 2 (5 cm rim fire), the demanding shock absorption according to the climbing helmet standard EN 12492, the white water helmet standard EN 1385, and the occupational safety standard EN 397.
The Schuberth M100 is a modern combat helmet with above-average wearing comfort and a high level of ballistic protection. The quality assurance of its products is extremely important to the German manufacturer, and Schuberth combat helmets are particularly characterized by their innovative strength: Again and again, new developments from Schuberth bring a breath of fresh air to the tactical market.
The Schuberth M100 helmet shell is made of multi-layer fire-resistant aramid composite and offers the following ballistic protection:
- NIJ IIIA
- VPAM 2 (5 cm to the brim, VPAM rating offers unparalleled testing for blunt force trauma protection)
- STANAG 2920 V50: 690 m/s
The interior of the M100 combat helmet from Schuberth consists of an EPP inner shell, a front head pad with head shape adjustment, a neck pad, a carrying net, and a 4-point chin strap with webbing guide and chin lock. Head width can be adjusted by turning the rear dial.
Available in high-, mid- or full-cut, the M100 is distinguished by its cross-manufacturer compatibility with earmuffs and communication solutions. The Ergonomic Headset Loop (EHL), developed specifically for the M100, is a webbing guide with rigidly designed segments that frames the earmuff, ensuring a perfect fit even during dynamic activities. This is complemented by the Divided Modular Liner (DML), a two-part headgear ring that not only allows the earpiece to fit perfectly under the helmet, but also allows it to be individually adjusted to the shape of the user's head.
The Device Connection Interface System (DCIS) of the SCHUBERTH M100 therefore has a rear rail in addition to the side-rail pair and a night-vision mount. This makes room for capability developments, which already required compatibility with peripheral devices to be acquired in the future, by means of an open system architecture. However, a completely new dimension of integration and management of peripheral devices is made possible by the SCHUBERTH Extended Connection Devices (ECD) developed in-house. These connections, which are distributed across all interfaces, not only allow a previously unknown level of advanced cable management, but also the integration of additional accessories such as lamps, covers or artificial camouflage elements.
The M100 is available in the following helmet styles, colors and sizes:
- High Cut
- Mid Cut
- Full Cut
- Tar black: RAL 9021

Features of the M100 to the interior equipment of the combat helmet:
- Split headband and revolutionary strap design for unsurpassed comfort, specifically designed for earmuffs and communications systems.
- Integrated mesh for optimal ventilation and wearing height adjustment.
- All components remain in the helmet and cannot get lost.
- Maximum individualization by adjusting the head shape in the forehead area and the head width through the rotary wheel.
Features of the M100 to the shroud and rail system of the combat helmet:
- 3 receptacles each for fastening clips integrated. These allow the simultaneous attachment of oxygen/respirator masks, basket goggles and fuses of IR friend/foe (IFF) detection modules.
- Each combat helmet comes with nine pieces of Enhanced Connection Device (ECD). These provide an enhanced interface for attaching additional attachments. For example, the ECD allows the attachment of cords or textile elements/artificial camouflage. The shape of the ECD also allows cables to be gently routed in an orderly fashion closely along the helmet shell. For this purpose, all rail elements and the shroud are provided with corresponding receptacles for the ECD.
