The Mid Insulation Hoody Gen II is the workhorse of your winter closet. The Mid is perfect as a daily wear due to its DWR (durable water repellent) treatment and polyamide 6.6 material making this jacket wind resistant, breathable, and weather resistant. With 70g of insulation you can comfortably utilize this hoody in a temperature range between 25F - 50F. Pair this with some DNS Alpha Merino Wool base layers and increase the warmth capabilities. Add on the DNS Alpha Gore-Tex 3L Hoody to gain full windproof and waterproof protection, in addition to increased warmth.

With smart stretch construction you gain unparalleled freedom of movement. The anatomically correct material placement and stitching on the back is the secret to this jacket feeling almost like you have nothing on restricting your movement.

CONSTRUCTION

For the outer layer, we use a mechanically textured Polyamide 6.6. The material achieves high durability and also provides a comfortable feel. The insulation material made of durable, water-repellent polyester is extremely lightweight yet still offers excellent thermal performance. For the lining, we use a very breathable, windproof polyamide. Our handwarmer pockets provide additional comfort by adding extra insulation to the pockets.
